Rose Latte : İğne Oyası

I have made a rolled rose with İğne Oya techniques.

* Rose Latte *
FUJIX TIRE Color STITCH, beading string, pinky ring

These days I've been trying and finally I have it finished in the shape of my favorite roses.
I used #30 silk thread for sewing machines this time and I would like to make more roses with various threads :)

Strawberry Puff : Lif

Finished a coaster with the Turkish traditional crochet method that is used when making body towels called "Lif".

* Strawberry Puff Coaster *
Punto stella - uncinetto by Simona Bresciani
Munsell Supima Lace Thread #20 Kasuri
Hook : 1.5mm (JPN#2)

I heard these types of body towels are often crocheted with Acrylic paralleled yarn in Turky.
Soft and plump stitches are heaty and it's fun to keep crocheting.

Little Room : Tatting Lace

I've made an accessory case with a small pincushion using an empty can.

* Little Room *
Anchor Mercer Crochet #100
Cotton fabric, quilt batting, thick paper
Swarovski rhinestones, metal parts

Decorated inside with fabric and tatting lace.

Mint tablets of Santa Maria Novella were in the base can.
Its tender sweetness and spicy flavor make me rest for a while :)

Rose, Gears, and : Tatting Lace

Petit watch parts I ordered the other day arrived and I've made a scissors keeper with them.

* Rose, Gears, and Tatting Lace *

All the things locked into resin are things I love.

Swallow and Music : Tatting Lace and İğne Oyası

I've just finished a needle book.

* Swallow and Music Needle Book*
Anchor Mercer Crochet #100
KAPLAN polyester : #50
Linen fabric, cotton fabric, quilt batting, thick paper
Button, ribbon, metal parts, beads

I thought this or that about it so it took more time than expected, but it was really a happy time :)
The stuck three needles are an embroidery needle for İğne Oyası, a sewing needle to hide thread tails of tatting, and a wool needle for crochet.
They are the ones I use most often.
I think I can make almost anything I make at ordinary times only with them.

There are four metal parts on the corners of a cover.

Il Nome della Rosa : İğne Oyası

The rose motif is my first incentive to learn İğne Oyası.
I've wanted to make this graceful and lovely motif all along.
This time I finished the first rose with Japanese embroidery thread.

* Il Nome della Rosa *

Framboise Chocolat : İğne Oyası

I've added an İğne Oyası watermelon flower to a metal kanzashi (a sort of traditional hair ornaments in Japan).

* Framboise Chocolat Kanzashi *

Watermelon flower / Turkish Traditional Lovely Lace Igne Oyalari p.61
FUJIX TIRE Color Stitch No.30/#9
Anchor Mercer Crochet #100
Beading string, ribbon, charm, metal parts

And a fluffy net is made with "İğne Dantel" that is also Turkish traditional lace knotted with a sewing needle.

I'm playing with a needle and thread these days.

The Cross in the Flammable Flower : İğne Oyası

I've finished a pure white flower at the end of August.

* The Cross in the Flammable Flower Charm *
Nergis (narcissus) / Turkish Traditional Lace Igne Oyalari p.46
Beading string, pep, metal parts, Czech beads, wire, chain

It seems to be a traditional igne oya pattern of a narcissus, but I somewhat have an impression of the flower as a lily, I think it's because of the cross :)
