Little Stamp : Punt 'e Nù

I made a scissor keeper with the techniques of Punt 'e Nù (Sardinian Knotted Embroidery) from Teulada in Sardegna, Italy.

* Little Stamp*
Materials
- DMC Retors d'Alsace #12
- Zweigart Cashel ct.28
- Swarovski beads, wire, metal parts, cardboard
Size
- 2cm square
Textbook
- Sardinian Knotted Embroidery : Whitework from Teulada

Work in progress.

The needle is inserted from right to left, and makes knots only on the each vertical fabric threads.
(In the case of left-handers, from below to above on the horizontal threads)

This is my first practice.

On the wrong side, stitches are barely visible.

    1. Hi Yvette,
      Thank you for your comment!
Your works are very beautiful and the clear instructions help me a lot.
Now I'm reading 'Portuguese Whitework: Bullion Embroidery from Guimarães' too, and am making a bookmark.
Thank you for your wonderful books :)
